戴沛權教授為香港唯一獲頒世界氣象組織青年科學家研究獎的氣候專家，在氣候學術研究範疇成績斐然。戴沛權教授在氣候變化、空氣污染和農業等課題的研究成果曾發表在頂級期刊上，獲得國際媒體關注。戴沛權教授致力推動可持續發展教育，曾獲頒中大校長模範教學獎。戴教授致力於公眾氣候及環境教育與倡議，恆常為政府、業界及公民組織提供諮詢及培訓，並擔任香港地球之友董事，加入中國代表團參與聯合國氣候變化大會。
Congratulation to our alumnus, Professor Tai Pui Kuen Amos, Associate Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences of the Faculty of Science, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, on being awarded the Ten Outstanding Young Persons award. Professor Tai is the only climate expert in Hong Kong to receive the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Research Award for Young Scientists (2015), achieving remarkable results in the field of climate academic research. Professor Tai ‘s research finds on climate change, air pollution and agriculture has been published in top journals and has gain attention from international media. Professor Tai is committed to the promotion of education for sustainable development and was awarded the CUHK Vice-Chancellor Exemplary Teaching Award for Exemplary Teaching. Professor Tai is also dedicated to public education and advocacy on climate and the environment, he regularly provides consultation and training to the government, industry, and civic organisations. He also serves on the board of Friends of the Earth (HK) and was part of the Chinese delegation to the United Nations Climate Change Conference.
